Back in time families built the village here, lived from and with the land, animals, each other’s skills and ancient knowledge that was passed on from generations to generations to come (like observing trees and which one can become bearing beam important for construction and which for flooring, in what moon phase and time of the year to cut the tree and process it to be strong, with imperfect seams and lines, and to last for generations).

Village Mikuličići is surrounded and hugged by two mountain beauties, Učka and Ćićarija. They keep this little village safe and provide easy sunny morning and magical sunset colours that end up cushioned in treetops.
As part of Central Istrian region our village is perfect blend of mountains, proximity to the sea and family-owned gourmet spots.

This truly small village has only 5 houses and we take care of 4 of them, some of them still in ruined condition.
