Rose welcomes the morning sun peeking over Učka mountain. It spreads on 2 levels and with its bright wooden surfaces brings greater connection with the natural surroundings.

- It got its name after a fragrant rose in front of the entrance that beckons you to spend time in her company, blossoms in late spring
- Possible disadvantage: shares covered entrance with Lupa; advantage: welcomes the most daylight into all rooms
This home has preserved elements of the original kitchen from the time when cooking using wood powered stoves and warm hearth was the place of everyday gathering. It is blended with modern functionalities and a big kitchen countertop that calls for creation of memories and indulging in food.

This place is AMAZING!!! It is definitely a quiet restorative place if your travels in Croatia have taken you in busy tourist places. The incredible apartment has everything you need! The artistic creative ambience truly is representative of the heart and intentions of the hosts. They adhere to living in respect to nature. I throughly enjoyed sitting outside in their fantastic resting furniture admiring the gorgeous sunset. Mirna’s name in Croatia means peaceful. I encourage you to place yourself next to her and submerge yourself in this wonderful space.Darleen
We stayed in the Rose apartment from Trnoružica with our Czechoslovakian wolfdog Fenrir. The place is beautiful, the house is clean and has everything you need and the owners are very nice and super helpful. Mirna helped us find the best places to go to for local products and food. We were also allowed to get fresh herbs from the garden for cooking and tea, which was great! On top of that Mirna brought us some wild asparagus to use in our dinner, which we wouldn't have tried otherwise. We'll definitely go back here next year!Natasja

Mirna's place was just what we were looking for. It was quiet, peaceful, tidy, dog friendly (even for our grumpy one) and it was very well located, so we were able to see a lot of Istria. Do ask Mirna for her recommendations. She knows superb places to eat, aswell as great travel destinations. We really enjoyed our time and were quite sad to only have stayed there for about a week. Mirna is just the perfect host. She's really caring, super responsive, outgoing, kind, you can have great talks with her, without her being invasive in any way. ‘A truly magical place. This is not just accommodation — it’s a project full of soul. Run by a passionate couple who are lovingly restoring a tiny old village, everything here is guided by the principles of permaculture and deep respect for nature. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming — we felt truly cared for. The house was beautifully designed, full of charming old details and thoughtful touches, both stylish and comfortable. But what made this stay so special was the atmosphere — you can feel how much love and heart they’ve put into this place.
